Lovely picture: that sea looks so blue, doesn't it? I love that area of Dorset. I've got a picture of my husband and kids sitting beneath a pine tree on the cliff above Studland Bay, and everyone always asks if it's the south of France.

I took this one on Boxing Day and wouldn't recommend anyone taking a dip; it was blowing a gale and so bitterly cold my ears and nose went numb! Got some lovely photos though and the low late afternoon light was beautiful.

Great picture - full marks for composition.

My camera battery doesn't like cold weather very much so until I learn how to overcome this I think I will be a fair weather photographer.

First thing I thought was oh no!, I'll have to jump all these and not land in the water. It is a beautiful photo of old and new. The reason I am so weary is cause of a video game my son got for Christmas....he's grown but we all stay play those silly things. So..one of the games requires you to cross one of these bridges and not fall in the water...yea right! We've all been stuck on that step.

Hi Zoe

Although Swanage isn't far from where I live, it's a bit of a trek without a car and I've only been there twice.

(When the train goes through from Wareham, I expect I'll go more.)

Like the photo though - it takes one's mind post-hopping, even if one wouldn't attempt it in real life . . . so it's quite appropriate for this blog!
